Introduction

P2600/P2601 (abbreviation as P2600) series are versatile FTTx P2P Ethernet triple-play CPE devices, developed and manufactured by V-Solution. It has a Fast or Gigabit fiber Ethernet uplink, 4 Giga-Ethernet downlinks, optional SIP VoIP with 2 POTS ports and CATV receiver.

There are 6 models in this family altogether, and different models share the same PCB, firmware and housing. In the future, we will launch the IEEE802.11n (1T1R) access point option. The CPE provides point to point (P2P) access via a single fiber, with option of double fibers, using a SC/PC or SC/APC connector. Lots of options make P2600 series to fit all kinds of application, operators and customers.

At user side, the CPE provides 4 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, optional 45~875MHz RF CATV receiver and 2*POTS features. You can enjoy high speed surfing on the internet, making call and watching TV at the same time. The CATV receiver status can be monitored and controlled by management software. It is highly reliable and easy to manage, with guaranteed QoS for different service. P2600 series are indeed triple-play box.

In order to meet the large-scale application requirement, the CPE provides flexible management modes, including Web, CLI, TXT configuration file and so on. The products can be large-scale configured or update firmware automatically.

On the other hand, all the transmission path parameters will be showed on the web, such as TX/RX optical power, RF level and highest work temperature in the device.

Ethernet Service Features

1)        Easy to access to Internet or internal network. P2600 series provide a 100M uplink, while P2601 series provide a 1000M uplink. You can flexible connect to an Ethernet P2P optical network.

2)        High performance forwarding ability: It integrates powerful network processor. There are 3 accelerators in the processor. It achieves nearly L2 wire speed forwarding capability, powerful throughput and load capacity.

3)        4 downlink 1000M Ethernet interface: The device integrates 4 L2 switch ports. Full speed non-blocking switching.

4)        Rich network protocol: TCP/IP, UDP, RTP/RTCP, ARP, FTP/TFTP, HTTP, Telnet, ICMP, NTP/SNTP, DHCP Server/Client, SNMP etc.

5)        2K MAC address table.

6)        64 full range VLAN ID.

7)        Powerful L2 switch function: VLAN bridging, port rate limiting, flow control, 4 IEEE802.1p QoS priorities, multicast (IGMP Snooping V1/V2), etc.

8)        Support QinQ VLAN, 1:1 VLAN, VLAN reusing, VLAN trunk, etc.

9)        Integrated port monitoring, port mirroring, port rate limiting, port SLA, etc.

10)     Support auto polarity detection of Ethernet ports (AUTO MDIX).

11)     Support ToS (Type of Service) and QoS. Integrated IEEE802.1p QoS and DiffServ with four level priority queues.

12)     IP address assignment: dynamic PPPoE / DHCP Client and static IP.

13)     Support TXT, Web and CLI, DHCP option 66/67 for auto configuration and firmware upgrade, configure easily.

POTS Service Features

1)        Call protocol: SIP (IMS compatible), compliant with RFC2543 and RFC3261, seamless compatible with all popular call agent, including HUAWEI, ZTE, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.

2)        Integrate heartbeat function and support active/standby call agent.

3)        Voice coding: ITU-T G.711/G.723.1(5.3K/6.3Kbit/s)/G.729, auto-negotiate with call agent.

4)        Echo cancellation exceeding ITU-T G.165/G.168-2002, up to 128ms tail length.

5)        Support high/low speed fax/Modem, T30 and T38 fax.

6)        Support RFC2833 and redundant RFC2833, difference rings, MD5 authentication, call forward, call waiting, hot-line call, and all kinds of value-added voice service.

7)        Multi-party conferencing.

8)        Line testing according to GR-909.

9)  Support WEB, CLI, TR069.

10)     Call loss less than 0.01%.

CATV Service Functions

1)  RF frequency: 45~875MHz.

2)  Turn on/off RF output remotely.

3)  RF level can be showed on Web real time.
